I am excited to have joined 25 best guides in Africa as number 4, according to survey by Conde Nast traveller 2013. I would like to join all my fellow guides mentioned on this list, especially Jackson Looseyia who is like my comrade at arms, Charity Jemutai whom i mentored as young guide. Johnson Nkukuu whom i worked with before and knows him very well as a keen guide. Billy Winter and Richard Knocker who are also great friends in the guiding world. While i do not regard this as an ultimate achievment, i count as my greatest reward in guiding, guest satisfaction and for guests to leave with memorable experience through my guiding services. However, i also appreciate the mention and listing here. Congratulations to all mentioned.

Congratulations my brother.., I always look up to you in this field! Guiding is not just about driving and wildlife spotting – it is to a great deal, about attention to detail in both flora and fauna; geography and environment as well as to fellow humans; be it as one’s guests, others’ guests, immediate colleagues and those from the diaspora. In our job passion and courtesy are inseparable while love for nature and respect for the same are paramount! Keep it up Mr. Kirui.
